Mrs. Rosemary Davidson, age 84, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025, in Goodyear, Arizona. She was born on October 30, 1940, in LaSalle, Illinois, to Verne and Bertha Williamson.
Rosemary grew up in Chicago and met her beloved husband, Donald D. Davidson, in Matteson, Illinois. They married in 1961 and later moved to Colorado Springs, where they fell in love with the stunning Rocky Mountains. It was there that they raised two sons, Donald and Daniel, while Rosemary worked as a school Secretary during her children's school years. She eventually concluded her professional career as a Secretary for the City of Colorado Springs.
A lifelong lover of history, Rosemary developed a particular passion for Civil War history. Alongside her husband, she traveled extensively, visiting numerous Civil War sites across the country. Rosemary also had a deep love for her family, especially her three cherished grandchildren, Hannah (23), Landon (20), and Samuel (19). She adored spending time with them and took immense joy in watching them grow.
In addition to her family, Rosemary had many hobbies, including collecting hippos and dolls and cake decorating. She was an avid reader of romance, mysteries and historical fiction, including books about the Civil War and the Amish.
Rosemary is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Donald D. Davidson, her sons Donald Davidson (Christine) and Daniel Davidson (Christine), her brother Robert Williamson, and her grandchildren Hannah, Landon, Samuel, Paige and Lauren. Her legacy of love, warmth, and devotion will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
