Stacye Pearl Bryant

With heavy heart, I announced the passing of my daughter Stacye Pearl Bryant on March 6, 2026. She was a shining light in our lives. She will be remembered for her kindness and compassion of animals, especially for her dog Cheyenne, who also passed away a couple years ago.

Stacye was born on April 9, 1981 in Merced, California to Melvin Bryant and Merle Charles. She attended St. Luke’s Episcopal Private School, Merced High School and Merced College where she graduated as a Registered Nurse.

She moved to Arizona in 2013 where she worked for the Department of Economics for many years.

Stacye loved hiking and mountain climbing here in Arizona. She spent her free time in nature, embracing God‘s beauty. She also loved to write poems and kept a journal of her life. Stacye was loved by her many friends here in Arizona and in Merced, California.

Stacye is preceded in death by her father Melvin Bryant. She is survived by her mother Merle Viola Charles and her fiancé Keith Johnson, her siblings Lorraine Williams, Derek Johnson, Tracy Bryant, Chipper Bryant and Tanya Bryant and multiple nieces and nephews.

Stacye will be deeply missed, and her spirit will forever remain in our hearts.

Viewing & Visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, Arizona on March 18, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
