Wesley W. Lewis

Wes graduated from Benton High School in Saint Joseph Missouri in 1976. He worked as a welder/fabricator throughout his life and enjoyed working with his hands, on various crafts and projects. He married Cindy in February 1993.

He was a loving, caring and dedicated father and grandfather. He loved the outdoors, camping and being near water. He loved music, playing on the guitar and listening to records. He was always learning and keeping up with history.

He is survived by his spouse, Cindy Lee Lewis and his 6 children. Surviving daughters; Leisha Lewis, Desiree Altamirano and Destiny Aguirre. Surviving sons; Micah Lewis, John Lewis and Joshua Lewis. Surviving sisters; Stacy Lewis Hayes and Beth Lewis. His surviving father Vernon “Vern” Lewis and step-mother Bonnie Lewis. At the time of his death he had 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Jane “Jo” Osborne. Uncles; Bud Osborne, Tom Osborne, Rick Osborne and Bob Lewis. Aunts; Dorothy Wilson, Nancy Silvey, Luella Scott and Marilyn Shields. Cousins; Joellen Foreman, Randall Wilson and Jodie Ward. As well as his Grandmother Mary Lonny.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held on Saturday 08/16/2025 from 10am to 2pm in Litchfield Park, Arizona.

A funeral/gravesite memorial service will be held on Sunday, 06/28/26 at 10AM at the Highland Cemetery in Highland Kansas. 1600-1738 Denmark Rd, Highland KS 66035.
