Aida Concepción López Rámos, 94, was granted peace by our Lord Jesus Christ on March 16th, 2026 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Aida was born in Camagüey, Cuba on December 8th, 1931 to Espéranza Fernandéz and Graciliano Rámos. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and devout follower of Christ. She married her soulmate Manuel O. Lopez in 1954 and welcomed their one beautiful daughter, Aida M. Pérez López in 1955.
A pillar in the Cuban community in Orlando, Aida helped many families flee communist Cuba in the 1960s to begin living the American dream.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Manuel Lopez, and four siblings Adamina, Argentina, Alicia, and Rogerio. She is survived by her daughter, Aida M. Pérez López, her son-in-law Mario J. Pérez, her grandchildren Mario M. Pérez, Alina Rodríguez Pérez, Samuel Rodríguez, and her four great-grandchildren (Isaiah Pérez, Natalie Pérez, Isabella Rodríguez, Samuel L. Rodríguez) whom she adored with all her heart. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and unwavering devotion to God.
