

Anita was born on October 13th, 1936, in St. Ann, Jamaica, West Indies to the late Estella Cross and George Morrison. She was the eldest of thirteen siblings including the youngest adopted son. She embodied the role of a matriarch with grace and strength, her life a testament to her unwavering faith and dedication to spreading the Gospel.
An entrepreneur by trade, Anita's true passion lay in evangelism. Driven by faith and compassion, she impacted countless lives as a missionary, prayer warrior, and mission field traveler. Anita's legacy of love and service will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. May we find comfort in the knowledge that she now rests in the arms of her Lord and Savior.
Anita was preceded in death by her husband Rupert George Johnson, brother Nicholas Robinson, brother Ronito Cross, and brother Anthony Cross.
Anita is survived by her Children: Joy Needles (Matt), Vivienne Blake-Carlin (Trevor) Philip Johnson, and Simon Johnson (Laura); Grandchildren, Nathanael Needles, Charlene Needles, Ethan Needles, Jordan Blake, Jessikah Blake, Juanitta Blake, Laura Gehrke, Alissa Johnson, and Alana Johnson; Great Grandchildren, Reaiah Israel Washington Blake, Elisha Blake, Noah Blake, Annmarie Fernandez, and Sayuri Needles; and Siblings, Clifford Lawrence, Delethia Wright, Lawford Cross, Jennetta Cross, Lupiter Cross, Annetta Scafe, Stephen Cross, Ariel Cross-Edwards, and Eugalee Cross.
Please join us in honoring Anita's memory on Friday, March 15th, at 6:00 pm for Anita’s Celebration of Life at Grace Bible Church of Central Florida, 801 Dorscher Rd, Orlando, FL 32818.

At the conclusion of the Memorial Service, we will travel to Woodlawn Memorial Park (approximately at 1:00 pm) for an Entombment at 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734. Immediately following the interment, we will return to Radiant Life Assembly of God for a 2:00 pm Repast.
