Tapp, Bernard Lewis, 92, of Leesburg, Fl., passed away on Sunday March 4, 2012. Mr. Tapp was born on January 16, 1920 in Gaspe, Canada. He was a decorated WWII Veteran, member of The Holy Name Society and St. Anne’s Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his sons, Roland (wife Tracey) and Jim (wife Carol) Tapp; his daughters, Margaret Tapp, Anne Hatem (husband Paul), Betsy Tapp, Mary and Theresa Tapp; brothers, Robert, Oswald, Thomas, and Richard Tapp; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Tapp was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Tapp, his son Bernard Tapp, one brother and two sisters. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday March 8, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Clermont, Fl. Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
