Beth Mier

Sharon “Beth” Mier , 57, of Longwood, Florida, left us to be with her Lord March 17, 2015 in Florida Hospital, South. Visitation and Service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida. Visitation will be Friday, March 20, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Service will begin at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2015. To help celebrate Beth’s life, please wear something green to the viewing and business casual to her service. Beth was born in Trenton, New Jersey to Pansy (Pat ) and Ralph Shuck in January 1958. She graduated from Hamilton High School–East (Steinert High) and married her high school sweetheart in 1978. In 1986 she moved to Longwood, Florida and raised her two daughters, while the children were attending Public School, Beth was heavily involved with The Dividend School Volunteer Program where she accumulated over 5400 volunteer hours in The Seminole County School System from 1986 through 2003. An avid Genealogist, she assists in “Find A Grave” for missed and lost family members and “Ancestry” Family Tree programming for those wanting to map their Genealogical branches. Beth is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Chris Mier; daughters, Constance (Connie) Ginther and Cassandra (Cassie) Mier, two grandchildren, Rylee Ginther and Addyson Ginther. She also leaves a sister Pamela (Pam) Rutter. A devoted mother, grandmother and loving wife, she will be terribly missed by all her family as well as those that have known and worked with her over the years.
