Betty Jean Griffis

Betty was born on November 1, 1948, in Mullins, SC to Donald Olen and Mildred Richardson. She married Robert in 1965, and she dedicated her life to the Lord while raising, loving and caring for her family (including Jacob and all her furbabies).

In her free time, Betty’s passions included gardening, drawing, painting and adding artisan touches to her surroundings. She was also an avid dog lover.

Betty Griffis is survived by Robert Griffis of Clermont, FL; her daughters, Terrie (Charlie) James of Apopka, FL, Donna (Ron) Manning of Daleville, AL, and Kim (Tim) Sutton of Mascotte, FL; and her grandchildren, Justyn James, Dalton James, Robyn Sutton, Nathan Sutton, Clayton Sutton and Raine Sutton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her family and friends, Betty also leaves behind her cherished sisters-in-Christ.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd at 12:30pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Orlando/Gotha, FL (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd), followed by A Celebration of Life Service at 1:30pm.
