

DUGAN, BEVERLY JEAN, 87, born in Mansfield, Ohio, passed peacefully on March 25, 2011. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a great cook and talented homemaker, decorating and entertaining, even making her own floral arrangements. She took on leadership roles in Girl Scouts, Ladies Golf and Neighborhood Watch committees. She was an avid swimmer, walker and gardener. She loved reading, movies, music and sunshine! Wednesdays were always her day to play, from picnics to pampering, she made time to enjoy life. She adored her family and was very close with every child, including the grandkids. She always made time to talk or listen, and gave great advice. She loved to laugh and was always up for a good joke. She was a great conversationalist, becoming fast friends with everyone she met. She and her husband Ralph built a loving family together and enjoyed 62 years of marriage. She was preceded in death just 13 days by her beloved husband, Martin Ralph. She is survived by her devoted children, Barbara Dickie, Marty (Edie), Tom (Mimi Herger), Trish, and Dan (Carrie) Dugan; grandchildren, Marty and Laurie Ritz, Jeff (Kelly) Dedrick, Sarah Butsch, and Kelly, Dillion and Madalyn Dugan; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her parents, Harry and Mildred Reid, sister, Nathalie Prentice, granddaughter, Chantele Dugan, and son-in-law, Tom Dickie.
A gathering of friends and family will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2011, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by memorial services at 2:00 p.m. and interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, Gotha, FL (407) 293-1361. Condolences may be offered at www.woodlawnfuneralhomegotha.com
