

Carol Ann Morrow, 69 years old, died Thursday January 18 with her sister at her side. She was born in Boston MA, educated at UMass Amherst and the University of Maryland at Baltimore, where she subsequently taught. While living in Maryland she took up running and competed in numerous charitable runs in Maryland, Virginia, and New Jersey. She was particularly fond of her volunteer activities at the inner city soup kitchen in Baltimore.
She lived in Orlando for nearly 30 years where she established her own company for fund raising and grant writing for national and local charities, fondly known as the 'Funding Fairy' . She was a bird enthusiast who raised and lived with many beautiful lovebirds. As a hobby she was a lamp collector and antique dealer, often at Mount Dora. She was cared for at the end of her days by the kind and loving staff at Adventist Care Center/Courtland. She was pre-deceased by her husband Don Gilluley. She is survived by her sister Janice McGonagle of Middleborough MA, her brothers Robert and Michael Casey of Brockton MA, her niece Denise Mcgonagle of Phoenix AZ, her grandniece Kendra Dias and grandnephews Jeremy and Jacob Dias. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central Florida Foundation. A memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home on Thursday, January 25th at 10:00am with a reception to follow.
