Carol J. Waters

Carol J. Waters, beloved wife and mother, went to heaven on June 6, 2022. She was born June 30, 1938 in Evanston, Illinois; but spent the majority of her life in Florida, particularly Orlando. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edmund S. Slomka and Helen Przybylski Slomka. She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Waters Sr. (Dick), and her children, Kathy Ruling, Don George and Richard A. Waters Jr. She had 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Carol graduated from Bishop Moore High School in Orlando and studied at Florida State University. She became a pre-school teacher at her mother’s school. Later she was a real estate broker in Orlando for many years and she and her husband owned and operated Air-Tec, Inc. She enjoyed being with family, especially hosting Christmas Eve dinner for many years, and birthday celebrations at her home. Carol and her husband spent time visiting the West coast of Florida where they had owned weekend retreats in Englewood. Carol was the heart of her family. She loved and nurtured all of us. She will be missed by many.
