Caroline M Childs

Caroline Moore Childs, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Sunday April 10, 2011. She was born in Mexico City, Mexico to her American parents Alonzo and Hallie T. Moore. Mrs. Childs moved to the Orlando area in 1943 and retired from the Orlando Public Library after many years. She was preceded in death by her children; son William W. Childs, and Matthew M. Childs, and daughter Sarah Childs-Grebe, and granddaughter Anne Calicchia. Her family includes daughter, Nancy Clemmons (Daniel) of Mesa, Arizona.; daughter- in- law, Madeline Childs of Palm Bay and daughter-in-law Connie Childs of Tallahassee, Florida; grandchildren, Mary Ellen Hekker (Peter) of Congers, New York; John Childs of Saratoga Springs, New York, Robert Clemmons of Scottsdale, Arizona.; Diana Collins (Shane) of Gilbert, Arizona.; Justin Childs of Albuquerque, New Mexico; James Childs of Tallahassee, Florida; Jackson Childs (Tina) of Boston, Massachusetts; Matthew Childs of Tallahassee, Florida.; Ariana Childs-Graham (Kate) of Mt. Rainer, Maryland; Cameron Grebe of Washington, D.C.; and Bronwen Grebe, great-grandchildren Michaela Childs, Kelsey Calicchia, Teresa Childs, and Ashley Collins, and Niece Cheryl Moore Rossi. A small Memorial Service is planned on April 27, 2011 at 2:00pm at Windsor Place at Lutheran Towers on the 4th floor. Arrangements entrusted to Woodlawn Funeral Home.
