Christene R Cox

Christene “Teeny” Reed Cox, 83, of Zellwood Station, Florida, passed away on Wednesday June 30, 2021. Christene was born on Christmas Day, 1937 in Blakely, Georgia to the late Mrs. Addie Ruth (Evert) Reed and Mr. Edward Reed. Christene enjoyed her work as a bookkeeper in Insurance for many years but would spend her free time singing in the Church Choir, playing pickle ball, sewing or quilting.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband; Dean Cox, her older brother, Sr. Donald “Don” E. Reed and her parents.

Christene is survived by her children, Norma Cox Jacobs, Janet “Jan” Prince (Richard), Tammy Cox and Jeff Cox. Her amazing grandchildren, Kevin Prince (Amanda), Kyle Prince and Chelsea Spieckermann. Her great-Grandchildren, Layton Prince and Landrie Prince. Her brother, William “Bill” Reed and her sister Janet Reed McGill.

A visitation for Christene will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 10:00 am – 10:30 am with a service beginning at 10:30am. A committal service to follow the conclusion of the service; all at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida.
