

Clyde graduated from Lincoln High School in 1960 and then went to Jacksonville, Florida to attend barber college. He moved to Winter Park, Florida in 1962 to live with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. George Scurry. Clyde worked at Winter Park Hospital as a janitor and later became employed at Orlando Utilities Commission in 1964 as a janitor and later became Building Director. He retired in 1996.
In 1965, Clyde married Pearlie Talbert. From this union two children were born: Clyde Robinson, Jr. and Angela Denise Robinson.
Clyde and Pearl purchased a home in Tangelo Park in 1966 and later joined Tangelo Baptist Church. Clyde was a dedicated servant to the kingdom. He believed that all things are possible through Christ. His positions in the church included Sunday School Teacher and Member of the Finance Committee. He also worked with the youth and sometimes assisted the Youth Choir Director with different activities. His love showed in everything he did and accomplished.
Clyde leaves to cherish his memory: A loving wife, Pearlie Robinson; Son, Clyde Robinson (Shermain); Daughter, Angela D. Robinson; Grandchildren, Stephen McCray, Shiana McCray and Randy Modeste; Brother, Charlie Robinson; Sisters, Oletha Mack (Theodore), Geneva McClyde, Edith Hart, Connie Humose, Barbara Ann Green (Pastor Lee Walter) and Burnette Thompson (Hopkins); Sister-in-law, Mattie Merkison; Brother-in-law, Dr. James Talbert, Jr.; First Cousins, George Scurry, Jr., Elvira McBurnie and Catherine Greenland; A wonderful and loving host of nieces and nephews.
