

Curtis graduated from Colonial High School and received an associates degree from Valencia Community College.
He married Mary Blake in 1984.
Curtis had a career in electrical repair for Barr's Equipment and had a passion for building computers, video games, science fiction, and helping others. He enjoyed woodworking, and shared his love of reading fantasy novels with both of his children. Curtis was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors who needed it, whether giving his time to assist in yard work or emotional support. Rarely a serious man, Curtis had a joke or sarcastic quip prepared for every occasion.
He is survived by his children: Jennifer DeCrotie and Timothy Blake and his siblings, Michael Blake and Vicky Blake.
Curtis we preceded in death by his wife, Mary.

Celebration of Curtis's life will be held on Tuesday, November 4 starting at 10am at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida
