Danny Nathan Meridith

Danny grew up in Windermere and graduated from Lakeview High School in 1962. He joined the US Army in 1963 with the 7th Infantry Division and served overseas in Korea & Japan, returning to Jacksonville, FL on his last assignment. After his discharge from the Army, he moved back home to Windermere and followed in the family Water Well Drilling business.

In 1985 Danny left the family business to begin his own well drilling & water treatment company, Meridith Environmental Services, until he retired in 2005.

Danny enjoyed traveling to exotic locations in the Caribbean & Europe and his yearly hunting expeditions to Colorado with his friends.

Danny is survived by his brother, Butch Meridith and his sister, Debra Kraft; three children, Michael Meridith, Michelle Clevenger and Mike Meridith and six grandchildren, Joshua Clevenger, Abigail Meridith, Christian Meridith, Alexander Meridith, Channing Meridith and Lacy Meridith

A funeral service for Danny will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734.
