Delcie McBee Hair

Delcie McBee Hair, 96, passed away Monday, March 3rd, 2025 at her home in Tennessee. She was born in Brunswick, Georgia, on February 23rd, 1929 to James Robert McBee and Drucilla Teston McBee. She graduated from Glynn Academy in 1946 and moved to Central Florida in 1949. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Kissimmee, Florida.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Hair. Mrs. Hair is survived by her sons, James L. Hair (Anna) St. Cloud, Florida; Richard K. Hair (Dennie) Yukon Territory, Canada; David W. Hair (Loretta) St. Cloud, Florida; daughters, Carol D. Lee, Madisonville, Tennessee; Diane L. Pinkert (Paul) Salem, South Carolina; Jody D. Monhollen (Ken) Madisonville, Tennessee; 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, and Delcie’s sister, Carol Hamilton (John) Brunswick, Georgia.

She loved the Lord and her greatest joy came from being around family and friends. She liked to bowl, do puzzles, loved flowers and watching the birds at our feeders, especially the hummingbirds. Loved the Atlanta Braves and most everyone would agree she loved to talk to everyone she met. She’s dancing and walking the streets of gold with her loved ones.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. The funeral service will begin at 12:30 PM with interment following in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
