Dennis Anthony Fernandez, 96, of Orlando, Florida passed away on August 3, 2015. Dennis helped design the invasion of Normandy and also fought at Normandy, being on the third wave of the boats to land at Normandy, while serving in the U.S. Army. He is predeceased by his wife, Wilma and son, Denny. He is survived by a Grandson, Richard Anthony Fernandez, and a Great-Grandson Zayne Anthony Fernandez. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Barbara (John) Bloss, Jack (Sandy) Fernandez, Scott (Melissa) Fernandez and Peggyann (Allan) Connolly; and numerous great and great, great nieces and nephews. Interment will be at Bushnell National Cemetery in Florida
