

Donna Lee Hyder, 80, of Orlando, Florida returned to her Heavenly home on December 5, 2014. She was born on September 25, 1934 in East Liverpool, Ohio to the late Earl Delbert and Sylvia Ellen (Eddy) Miller. Donna was an amazing homemaker who was a member of Pine Castle United Methodist Church and involved in the women's bible study group there for many years. In Donna's younger years, she played volleyball and had an art for juggling her four children's many activities ranging from softball and baseball, volleyball and the Brownies and Girl Scouts. She was an avid Magic fan and bowled for 45-50 years. Donna enjoyed traveling and went on numerous cruises. When she had an opportunity to sit down, she'd have a Danielle Steel book in her hand, and she also enjoyed watching sports. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Sylvia (Eddy) Miller; husband, John O. Hyder; son, Jimmie Lee Hyder; step grandson, Jeffery Scott Peterson; brothers, Vernon and Kenny Miller. Survivors include her son, Bobby Hyder; daughters, JoAnn (Michael) Lowery and Linda (Pete) Peterson; brother, Dencel Miller; grandsons, Brian Lowery and Justin Hyder; step granddaughter, Rachael Peterson.
“A Celebration of Life” will be held at Pine Castle United Methodist Church located at 731 Fairlane Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32809 on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 11:00 am.
