

She was a devoted wife that cared for her husband of 64 years, Frank H Inderwiesen, who proceeded her in death keeping him out of the nursing home and a devoted mother, raising 5 children. She worked at Ivey’s Department Store in Orlando and had a passion for gardening and painting.
Dorothy was also a faithful member of St. Charles Catholic Church for over 60 years.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Ann DeSpain, Frank William Inderwiesen, Shirley Ruth Carter and her husband, Frank, Philip Leon Inderwiesen and his wife Patricia Kay Tovsen, and Paul Douglas Inderwiesen and his wife, Kimberly; her grandchildren, Dawn Walling and her husband, Terry, Carrie Gaines and her husband, Timothy, Stephen Paul Lewis and his wife, Carole, Michael Inderwiesen, Linda Gilstrap and her husband, Ricky, Sandra Key, Joseph Carter and his wife, Leslie, Ryan Inderwiesen and his wife, Jessica, Craig Inderwiesen and Chelsea Clifton and her husband, Stephen; great grandchildren, Jason Lewis and his wife, Shelly, Catherine Eubank and her husband, Cole, Ashley Lewis, Kaiya Lewis, Leah Lewis, Shannon Hawkins, Anna Gilstrap, Amber Gilstrap, Hadley Carter, Jolie Carter, Bridgette Inderwiesen, Laci Inderwiesen, Emily Inderwiesen, Ashley Inderwiesen, Clayton Clifton, Carver Clifton, Sadie Clifton, and Savannah Clifton. She is also survived by her great great grandchildren, Jayden Lewis, Savannah Lewis, Clara Eubank, Lincoln Messer, Eliana Messer, Legend Monseur, Legacy Monseur, Gavin Gilmer, and Jasper Lahiff and her siblings, Lena Reid and Carl Pintar.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6-8pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A funeral mass for Dorothy will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4001 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, FL 32804.
