Dorothy “Dottie” Jane Rogers, 77, of Winter Garden, Florida passed away on Monday May 27, 2013. She was born on May 22, 1936 in Whitesburg, Kentucky to the late Benjamin and Allie Garrett. Dottie grew up and married Harry Rogers and became a dedicated housewife and mother while traveling throughout the United States and several countries overseas as Harry served the country through the Navy. After his retirement in 1968 they settled in Winter Garden. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harry Rogers, three children; Greg (Nancy) Rogers, from Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, Keith (Julie) Rogers, from Florence, Alabama, Kathy (Danney) Robertson from Montverde, Florida, five grandchildren, Jessie Rogers, Mitch Rogers,Shannon Rogers, Justin Robertson and Cory Rogers; three great-grandchildren, Vivan, Ben and Lilly.
