

Eduardo C. Correa, 88, departed this life Fri. Sept. 16, 2016 at the home of his caretaker, a dear cousin, in Orlando, Florida. He was born in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba to the late Julia (Hernandez) Correa and Valeriano Correa, also raised by stepmother, Celia. At the "Colegio Nacional de Radio Telegrafistas de Cuba" he excelled in electronics repair training. After leaving Cuba and having served in the Cuban military in the 1950s, he moved to Brooklyn, NY. Eduardo was a licensed electronics repairman and the owner of Marconi TV Service in Brooklyn and a while after moving to Orlando, FL in the late 1970s, EDCO TV Service. He worked in this field for local businesses as well. He served as a committed foster father and In 1992 he retired from the city of Orange County and then worked these last 18 1/2 years at the Orange County Convention Center. Among his favorite pastimes was using his handyman skills; enjoying music and dancing; going to the corn and mango groves and eating plenty; staying fit; attending "La Escuela Cientifico Basilio" in Tampa, FL; visiting family and friends and shopping at Sam's and Walmart. Ultimately, he leaves this earth having received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
He is predeceased by motherly aunts, "Tia Nilo", "Tia Nana" and "Tia Pepa" and a brother.
Surviving are 8 brothers and a sister; former wife, Leonides; 2 children, a son Elias (wife, Lizzette/children, Elizz and Elias, Jr.) and daughter, Dina (husband, Jimmy Watts/children, Julian and Jaslyn); second former wife /family; several cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends in Cuba, Italy, California, New York, Miami and throughout.
