

Ed Hyslop, former owner for 22 years of “E & S Amoco” on Colonial and John Young Parkway, in Orlando, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 9, 2013, in Orlando, Florida. He was 92 years old. Ed was born on June 8, 1920, in Amsley, Nebraska, to Stewart and Jessie Hyslop. He was married to Betty Hyslop for 69 years before her passing in 2009. He was a man of great integrity, honesty, and kindness. He was soft spoken, gentle, and was a solid rock “foundation” for his family. For 44 years, he cared for his wife, who was in a wheelchair. He loved his wife and family.
He is survived by; his daughter, Linda (and her husband, Steven) Wade, grandchildren; Steven (and his wife, Renee) Wade II, Heather (and her husband, Scott) Jouett, Renee (and her husband, Ray) Corman, and Sonja (and her husband, Robert) Lonadier; 19 great-grandchildren; and many other family members.
The family will receive guests on Friday, February 15, from 1:00 pm -2:00 pm, at Woodlawn Funeral Home (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL. 34734: 407-293--1361). Funereal service will on Friday, February 15, at 2:00 pm, at Woodlawn Funeral Home, with internment following the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park
