Elbert Jenkins, Jr "Bootie" age 79 of Eustis passed away January 15, 2010. He was born November 3,1930 in Chamblee, GA. the son of Elbert, Sr. and Willie Mae Jenkins. He was the owner of Booties Used Cars in Orlando. Mr. Jenkins was a member of First Baptist Church of Umatilla. He was a US Navy Veteran who served during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as a sister, Claudette. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Virginia; sons, Rodney and Michael; brother, Billy Joe(Wanda) Jenkins, Sr.; sisters, Frances Virginia (Dave) Pierce, Louis (Bobby) Bennett, Evelyn (Bill) Fincher, Joyce Goodwin; 3 grandchildren, Ethan, Mason and Paisley. Bootie was a hard worker and loved by all. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist of Umatilla Building Fund.Visitation will be held Monday 9am-noon at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha with a funeral service beginning at noon Monday, January 18, 2010.ARRANGEMENTS ENTRUSTED TO WOODLAWN MEMORIAL PARK AND FUNERAL HOME
