

Betty was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, on April 7, 1952, to the late Frank and Evelyn Santos. She is survived by her son, Calvin Phillips; her grandson, Cody Phillips of Lake Mary, FL; her daughter, Shannon Phillips of Orlando, FL; her sister, Lyn Santos of Uncasville, CT; her brothers, Frank Santos of Winter Park, FL, Joe Santos of Cranston, RI, and Scott Santos of Orlando, FL; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Francis Pimental.
Betty retired from Walt Disney World after a 29-year career. She loved traveling to England, taking Disney Cruises, and attending Christmas and 90s Con events to meet her favorite celebrities. She was a fan of Air Supply and live theater. A talented crafter, Betty enjoyed knitting and crocheting—donating hundreds of created hats for newborns over the years.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held on July 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 4851 S. Apopka-Vineland Rd, Orlando, FL 32819. Immediately following the service, there will be a reception in the Santos Welcome Hall at St. Luke’s, where the family will greet friends and share memories. A private committal service will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734.
