

Eugenie was born on March 24, 1932, in Manchester, Jamaica. In 1968, she courageously journeyed to the United States in pursuit of new opportunities and a better future for her loved ones.
Eugenie was the matriarch and heart of her family. Her home was a place of refuge, wisdom, and unwavering love. She was a pillar of strength and a guiding light to all who knew her. A woman of strong and abiding faith, Eugenie loved and served the Lord faithfully throughout her life. Through her sacrifice, guidance, and steadfast faith, she laid a firm and unshakable foundation upon which generations could grow and pursue their own paths. Every opportunity embraced and every success achieved stands as a living testament to her labor and love. She leaves behind a legacy of grace, perseverance, and spiritual strength that will continue to inspire generations.Her legacy is not only remembered; it is lived each day through the lives she’s touched.
She is lovingly survived by her three daughters Joan Ellis, Sharon Whorms, and Carol Biggs. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Austin Ellis Jr., Malik Biggs, Junior Biggs, Rashida Biggs, Nilaja Biggs, Carol Johnson, and Jamal Mondesir. Her legacy continues through her cherished great-grandchildren Mia Biggs, King Biggs, Leandro Pita, Christopher Ellis, Giniah Moncrieffe, Jakira Johnson, Alida Nyla Biggs, Jayla Johnson, Zhion Biggs, Adriana Biggs, and Austin Ellis III.
