

Eunice A Smith was born July 14, 1943, in Cobbla, Manchester to the late Mrs. Dorothy Salmon and Mr. Daniel Salmon. She migrated to Detroit, Michigan as a young woman to start her new journey in the United States before eventually moving to New York City and later retiring in Ocoee, FI.
Lyn as she was known by her family and friends was educated in the Jamaican School system where she graduated from primary school, and went on to study fine culinary arts in Detroit. As the years passed she moved to New York City where she would meet her husband Ruddy of forty years. Lyn started her
tenured career within the telecommunication industry moving up the ranks within the phone company while pursuing her degree in Computer Systems and Management Applications. In 1986, she graduated with a B.S from Fordham University.
While in New York she raised her two daughters Tisha and Sheri with her loving husband Ruddy. As we all knew, Lyn lived for her family and the birth of her two grandchildren Shiloh and Sydney became her world. Not only did she love her family, she cherished the friends she made along the way. Lyn and her
husband Ruddy enjoyed their retirement by traveling extensively throughout the Caribbean and Hawaii.
Her faith was also an important aspect of how she lived her life. Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church welcomed her with opened arms and allowed her to grow and have a closer relationship with God.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Madge Salmon and Joyce Patterson Fisher: two brothers Bobby and Gerald Salmon. She leaves behind a loving legacy to her husband: Ruddy Smith, daughters: Tisha Jobson-Smith, Sheri Braddick; granddaughters Shiloh and Sydney Braddick; a loving son-in- law
Dustin Braddick; a sister Linda Williams and brother Earl Salmon; daughter Andrea Jobson and family Kevin, Erica and Nia; Nieces: Marjorie, Veronica, Karen, Marie, Jean, Arlene, and Joy; Nephews Tony, Gaston, Kenton, Michael, Layton and Collie; a host of loving nieces, nephew grand nieces, nephews,
cousins throughout Jamaica, Canada, New York and Florida
