Eva Frances (Fran) Wolfe Kessler, 91, of Orlando, Florida went to Heaven at 2:05pm on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Advent Health Hospice in Orlando after a short illness. She lived in her beloved West Virginia up until 1984, when she and her late husband, Robert Posey Kessler (2006), moved to Florida.
Fran was born on May 25,1929 at home in Glenville, West Virginia to the late Harley Howe Wolfe and Eva Powell Wolfe.
On December 6th, 1952 Fran married Robert (Bob) Posey Kessler in Charleston, WV and enjoyed 54 years together before he passed away on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, 2006. For many years, they so enjoyed traveling to visit their children and grandkids, going to Myrtle Beach a few days, then back to Florida.
Fran graduated from Glenville HS in 1948 before moving to Charleston to work for the State of WV. She also worked at Top Value Stamps, McJunkin, Frankenburgers and Union Carbide. She was a very sweet and kind person who was faithful to God, a devoted homemaker and loving wife, and dearly loved her children, grand kids and great-grand kids. She would talk for months about upcoming family reunion events at the beach. And everyone looked forward to her famous waffles and special Spaghetti recipe. In her 60’s, 70’s and 80’s she did water aerobics and line dancing several days a week. She also did 100 pushups and sit-ups every day when she got up and looked forward to Fall Olympics at The Plantation in Leesburg, Florida. She enjoyed music and shows and the Orlando Magic. She rarely ever missed a game on TV. She also dearly loved watching Tennis.
Frances is survived by: Roberta(Danny) Locklair of Richmond, VA; Terry(Terri) Kessler of Orlando, Fl; Gary(Pam) Kessler of Fraziers Bottom, WV; Diane(Monte) Rosemond of Hendersonville, NC; Carl(Julie) Kessler of Calhoun, GA; Eleven Grandchildren; Fourteen Great-Grandchildren.
