Fred has been a friend of my family since 1977.   I can't tell you how many times he has prayed for special needs in our home.  He has helped us with a big smile on his face and always prayed about everything.  He will be missed by many and  I thank the lord for putting this man in our lives all the time. I worked with Fred over 30 years ago at Martin Marietta.  One of the nicest gentlemen I could ever hope to meet.  My condolences to the family of this wonderful man.

Anne Marie, Rhonda & Dave, I just received the news.  Your father was so unique, in all the good ways.  In fact,after my parents were gone, he was like a second father to me.  A personal evangelist indeed, he just beamed Jesus and His love to all.  He was so unselfish, and a true caring servant.  What a tremendous heritage he has left especially to you all, and to us as well.  He will forever be in our hearts and an inspiration to our lives.  May God comfort you all in this time. Fred, thanks so much for your influence and time we shared together in the Army Reserves, at Lockheed-Martin and more recently by phone.  We were looking forward to your visiting us in Alabama, however, you were needed more Elsewhere.

Sorry for your loss - what a remarkable man.  Always smiling, so caring.  Mr. Fred brings a smile to my face when I think if him.  The angels are rejoicing.

I have loved both of your parents for a very long time.  They were both very instrumental in seeing Joe and I through some tough times.  They prayed for us diligently, I do know that.  I will miss Fred as I have missed Marilyn but rejoice in his new life with our Father.  I am so sorry.

My heart goes out to you.  I told Norma on Saturday morning.  I had already told her he was very sick.  Needless to say she was very sad.  She is still very weak but tears filled her eyes.  I have been talking with her about your Dad over the last few days.  She is having some memory loss but shared with me some things about him.  I had the pleasure of knowing him also & I was blessed every time I had the opportunity to see him or speak to him over the phone.  I told Norma that he came to see her when she was very sick.  I appreciated his coming very much.  I know you are very sad at his passing & the time ahead will be difficult but be comforted by the fact that he is in the very place that he told people about during his life, a place to which he had been prepared to go for many, many years, where someday, we will be reunited with him.  I asked Norma yesterday if she wanted me to pass anything along to you.  She said simply, "Tell them I love them."  Please know that we will be in constant prayer for all of you.

From Tennessee we are sending our love and heartfelt sympathy to the family. Fred was a credit to Christianity, and is now with Jesus.

We will miss Fred's smiles and cheer and his volunteered assistance as a board member and backup treasurer of the Retired Employee Association of Lockheed Martin.  He was one of the few surviving veteran railroad "click-sounder" telegraph operators among his other many skills, experiences, and accomplishments. Despite the difficulties of attending Orlando directors meeting from his residence in Islomorado, he was a ready volunteer.  May he find eternal rest.  Ben Drexler,  REALM President

Papa, I am so grateful to be one of yours....  Thank you for your love, your laugh, your heart for our Lord and for being Papa to so many.  You never had to wear a t-shirt that said, "Love Jesus".   You just did, and it was evident to the whole world.  We will miss you but know you are with Christ, and Mema.   My prayer is that we might continue your work as unto the Lord, for His glory. Uncle Fred I will always cherish the times we spent together, hunting, fishing, discussions about the Bible, even taking me on reserve meetings. Sneaking a piece of fried chicken even though Aunt Marilyn said no. I will always remember that "Clark" laugh that You and Daddy have. You made me a better person through your love and compassion. It hurts my heart but I have confidence I will see you again. I love you and you will always be on my mind in in my heart
