

Clark, Fred Davis Sr. (Papa) of Orlando and Islamorada went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 6, 2015. Fred was born on November 23, 1935 in Clinton, SC to George “Roy” Clark and Thelma Rawls Clark. Fred graduated from Rock Hill High School in SC and Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC. He was preceded in death by his lovely wife of 60 years, Marilyn Lester Runnion Clark (Mema), grandson Clark Davis Drebenstedt I, sister Winifred Gregory, brother Manly Clark. He is survived by brother GR (Bobbi) Clark, sister Norma (Donny) Thompson. 3 children; Rhonda (Judd) Peterson, Fred Davis “Dave” (Cristal) Clark, Jr., and Anne Marie (Roy) Drebenstedt; 12 grandchildren Rachel (Greg) Ciola, Rebecca (Aaron) Kassler, Adrienne Clark, Emily (Chad) McGhee, Ryan (Stacy) Drebenstedt, Sarah Drebenstedt, Caysee Clark, Brooke Clark, Skyler Clark, Clark Drebenstedt II, Kaidon Clark, Landon Clark; 11 great grandchildren Jeremiah, Joseph, Jordan, and Joel Ciola; Peterson and William Kassler, Annelie, Chandler, and Kailyn McGhee, Riley and Denver Edwards, and Phobe Parker on the way.
Fred retired from Lockheed-Martin as an Industrial Engineer, and was active in Realm—their retirement group. He was a deacon and former Sunday School teacher at College Park Baptist Church ( now Church on the Drive), and also active at First Baptist Church of Key Largo. He served as a chaplain for the Orange County Jail Ministry, and Plantation Key Jail. He was Lt Col in US Army. He was an avid outdoorsman—fishing, golfing, hunting, and scuba diving. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Most importantly, he helped people understand that by making Jesus their Lord and Savior they could have eternal life in Heaven.
Celebration of Life will be at Church on the Drive (Formerly College Park Baptist Church) 1914 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, FL 32804
Visitation 10 AM and Celebration of Life 11 AM; followed by lunch in the church fellowship hall.
