Gary Andre’ Davis

Gary Andre’ Davis, age 59, of Winter Garden, Florida passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. He was born on December 21st, 1963 in New York City to Gwendolyn Rebecca Davis, who preceded him in death. Gary attended and completed his school tenure from the 1st to the 12th grade in New York, as well. After graduating high school, Gary joined the Army and became an airborne ranger. His career in the Army consisted of fighting in Desert Storm and in the Iraq War where he jumped out of airplanes and helicopters. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1992 when he met his wife, Shawn Washburn. He married her in 1993, and they produced three awesome sons, Miles, Darius, and Devon. Gary drove for the Lynx Bus Company in Florida. He also worked for the Orlando theme parks, and truly loved his job and team at Universal Studios. Gary is survived by his wife Shawn; his three sons, Miles, Darius, and Devon; his daughter-in-law, Josie; his favorite cousin, Shavon; and, a host of relatives and friends. He is also survived by "his girls", Storm and Lia, who loved their dad very much; and by his adoring Grand-pup, Pablo, who loved to visit Grampa and spend time with him. In lieu of flowers, we would love for you to donate to your local Veterans' charity, or a charity of your choice on Gary's behalf.
