Gladys Marie Boggan

She will lovingly be remembered by her children, Carolyn Boggan Creed, and husband, Gerald Creed, Jake Boggan and friend, Pat Grossman, Pamela Boggan and Howard Boggan, and wife, Donna Bruce Boggan. She will also be missed by all of her Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great Great-Grandchildren and many friends.

Gladys was a very loving and caring wife and mother. She had a very busy life raising her family and helping others. She was a long-time member of Conway United Methodist Church and Orange County Demonstration Club. She had many hobbies including sewing, crocheting, especially Afghans for her family, as well as making and selling other various crafts. She volunteered to make quilts for her church quilt ministry for needy children, as well crocheting hundreds of preemie baby hats for the local hospitals. Gladys worked at Park Lake Presbyterian Church preparing meals, catering weddings and preparing meals for Head Start. She also worked as a dietitian at the first Gerber Child Care Center in Orlando, where she later retired. Gladys and her late husband, John Boggan, enjoyed their retirement in Florida and in their cabin in North Carolina.

We want to thank the Vitas Hospice staff for their support and care, as well as her private caregivers, Sylvia and Joan. Also, we want to give a special thank you to Vidia, her caregiver and friend of 10 years.

Gladys will be missed by her family, friends and caregivers.
