Hugh is survived by his wife Susan, daughter Leslie (Asa), and beloved grandchildren Maddox and Catherine “Cadie." Hugh was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and was absolutely adored by his family, as he was never without a word of encouragement, praise and pride in their accomplishments. Hugh was also an animal lover, as he and Susie shared their home with many beloved family pets.
Hugh enjoyed numerous hobbies and interests throughout his life, particularly martial arts, woodcarving, photography and reading. Hugh’s early interest in martial arts also kindled his longtime love of Japanese art and culture.
