Jacques I. Bastien was born January 26, 1947 in Mont-Organizé, Haiti. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Roxanne Bastien and he has 2 sons and one daughter and daughter-in-law; Sem Inoe Bastien and wife Natalie Bastien of Tampa, Florida; Walgas Inoe Bastien of Miami Florida, and Emannuella Arscott of Port Charlotte, Florida. He has 10 grandchildren; Sementha, Walgas Jr., Hakeem, Christopher, Malik, Keona, Adella, Colby, Demarious, and Kaisha and 3 god-daughters; Stephanie Gagerie of Fort Lauderdale Florida, Sandy Preval of Boston and Valerie Preval of Tampa Florida. He leaves behind 13 siblings; Robert Blemur and wife Germide) of Fort Lauderdale Florida; Saturmine Blemur and husband Jacques of Canada; Jacques Blemur and wife Jocelyne of Boston; Andre Blemur and wife Marlene of Canada; Fred Blemur and wife Maude of Canada; Lawrence Blemur and wife Ilioseph; Edwige Blemur; Therese Blemur; Gervais Blemur and wife Marjorie; Marie Nestor Blemur and husband Moise; Micheline Bastien and Jeanne Bastien.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.

Service 2:00pm on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 2:00pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, Orlando, FL.
