James David Donaldson Sr. 85, of Orlando, Florida passed away on September 19, 2020. James was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on April 4, 1935 to the late Mrs. Clara (Nee; Willifred) and Mr. Russell Donaldson. James served honorably in the United States Air Force for 22 years before retiring and working with the United States Postal Service for another 12 years. He enjoyed spending time outside, and tending to the yard, but most of all, spending time with his family.
James is predeceased by his parents, and his daughter; Vikki Donaldson, and his siblings; Russell Howard Donaldson and Betty Hudson.
James is survived by his wife; Shirley, his beloved pup, Abigail, his children, James David Donaldson Jr (Carol) and Russell Franklin Donaldson (Patricia). His grandchildren; Kasandra Lovelace, Kimmy Joe Cline and Kristinia Killion; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for James will take place on Wednesday at 1:30pm, with a service beginning at 2:00pm. A committal to follow; all held at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida.
