James H. Gregg, Jr.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Reverend Renauld A. Gregg of New York City will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 12:00 pm on August 28, 2012 at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A Military Honor Guard and Tribute Cremation Service will follow 1:00 pm. Funeral arrangement are being handled by Woodlawn Funeral Home.

James was born in the Bronx, New York on September 27, 1949. He attended JHS 27 and Port Richmond High School and continued to study briefly at Howard University. In 1970 James joined the United States Air Force. He was trained as a Cryogenics’ mixing jet fuel and assigned for two years in Goose Bay Labrador.

James was married to Judy A. Bonfont but the union ended in divorce.

James worked as a sales manager for Xerox Corporation for more than 10 years. Later in his career James switched his career and was trained as a credit Analyst. He enjoyed reading, playing basketball, and hiking. He was also involved in teach credit review for many years and was a dedicated member of the Rotary Club.

James is survived by his two children, Francisco A. Del Valle and Julienne Ashley Gregg; his several grandchildren; his brother, Ronald A. Gregg; and 2 nephews, Regauld A. Gregg and Remington A. Gregg; and the rest of family and friends.

James is preceded in death by his partnets, James H, Gregg, Sr. and Mary A. Gregg; as well as his grandmother, Zella McBride.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given t the American Red Cross, 563 West 12th Street, Washington DC. The family if James H. Gregg, Jr. wishes to thank the MD Anderson Cancer Center of Orlando, Florida as well as International Christian Center of Staten Island, New York
