

Age 24. The loving son to Jon and Lori Hodgskin, and the incredible brother to his best friend and sister Ashlee.... Jimmy, a Winter Garden resident is known by all who know him as an outstanding athlete, student, and friend. He will be sorely missed by all who knew this vibrant young man. Jimmy was a very accomplished baseball player whose career began at a young age. He played for The Orlando Reds travel team, Bishop Moore High School and was later accepted on scholarship to play collegiate baseball. He was blessed to play for Troy State as well as The University Of Tampa.
Jimmy was involved in a fatal car crash early Sunday morning as he headed toward work. Services for Jimmy are Thursday October the 27th at 3pm. A public viewing will be held from 2 until 3pm prior to the Celebration of his Life. Services to be held at The Crossings Community Church, 13105 W. Colonial Drive Winter Garden 34787
Jimmy is also survived by his grandparents Harold and Barbara Hedge, grandfather, Rob Sandon, aunt and uncle Donnie and Sandi Hodgskin, Uncle Gary, Uncle James, Aunt and Uncle Pat and Staci Polites and their children Lauren and Ethan Polites. Aunt Mary and Uncle Cal Wilson, Steve, Dan, Wendy, Greg and cousins.

An account under the name of The Orlando Reds Baseball Club Jimmy Hodgskin Memorial Fund has been established at Fairwinds Credit Union. Proceeds will go towards college scholarship money for baseball players in Jimmy's memory. The legacy will live on for this Angel in the outfield.
