Jean Virtue Humphrey King, 91, of Orange City, Florida, formerly of Orlando, passed away on March 25, 2014 at Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler in Orange City. She was born on November 21, 1922 in Buffalo, New York to the late Elmer Harold and Helen Marie (Deater) Humphrey. Jean retired from First Baptist Church of Orlando as part of the office support staff. She was dedicated to the church and taught a Bible Study class. Mrs. King enjoyed square dancing with her late husband, Sydney and occupied her time doing word searches, plastic canvas needlepoint and ceramics. Jean was a devoted mother to her son, Loren King. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Sue King; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
