

Jean was passionate about supporting the Jamaican School for the Blind as an active member of the Quest Church Mission team. Her impact will be felt for years to come. She also looked forward to gathering with her Naomi Circle group, Friends of the Caribbean Fellowship and many other Bible studies enriching her walk with the Lord and sharing with others.
She is survived by her husband Bill of 43 years and stepdaughter Denise, as well as Wyman (Patricia) Bethune as they were raised in the same home from early childhood. Jean is also mourned by her loving family as well as a host of loving friends.
Jean was preceded in death by her childhood friend, Ava, Jean’s dear friend for over 75 years.
Jean was a woman of deep faith and boundless love. Her commitment to her Lord is a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Services have been entrusted to Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida.
A visitation for Jean will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 5-7pm.
Jean's funeral service will be held at Quest Church- 1450 Citrus Oaks Avenue in Gotha, Florida on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 10:00am. Her committal service will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
