John Castaldi

John F. Castaldi, 62, of Winter Garden, Florida, passed away on June 3, 2018. He was born in the Bronx, New York on October 8, 1955. John graduated from Cranford High School and received his Associate’s degree from Union College. He met the love of his life, Patricia Ann Battaglini, and they were married on January 7, 1979. John worked hard as a Building Manager for Novadigm and Mack-Cali, starting his career as an expeditor and project manager at Breeze-Eastern. He also had a passion for reading, classic horror movies, and rock and roll, especially Creedence and Steppenwolf. John was a very funny and creative guy.

John is survived by his wife, Patricia Castaldi, his son, Daniel Castaldi, his mother, Anita Castaldi, his sister, Adele Evans, brother-in-law Glen Evans, brother Frank Castaldi and sister-in-law Kee Castaldi, and his brother- in-law, James Battaglini and sister-in-law, Stephanie Battaglini and their children Tyler and Brandon Cooper. He also had many beloved nephews, Glen Evans and Michael Battaglini and nieces, Jennifer Andreola, Nancy Evans, and Ann Castaldi, and grandnieces, Peyton Battaglini, Adelyn Evans and grandnephews, Branden Battaglini, Evan Andreola and Glen Evans III.

John was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, John requested that donations be made in his name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
