John is survived by his mother, Gladys Caylor, and three sisters, Sheila Williams, Jackie Vernon and Margaret Hufschmid. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him, not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In respecting John’s wishes, there will not be a service. However, in leu of sending flowers to the family, please donate to your local animal shelter.
John has fought a hard battle for the past 5 years dealing with his brain injury. His mind may have failed him, but one thing he was clear about was that he wanted to come home. John, you are home now.
