

Joseph Michael Yatsko, age 88 passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Joseph was born in Farrell, Pennsylvania on March 4, 1937. Joe graduated from Farrell High School and received a Architectural Certificate from Commonwealth Technical Institute in Johnstown, PA.
He was married to Shirley May Lingenfelter on June 18, 1960.
Joe had a career in construction where he worked for several organizations such as D.D. Davis Construction, Sharon Steel, Brooks & Redfoot Architects, and owned J.M.Y Custom Homes. He also had careers at several other organizations such as Suntrust where he worked as a courier, Sealy Mattress Factory, and Atlas door Roll-lite factory.
He loved woodworking, auto mechanics, fixing anything that needed to be repaired, as well as partying with family and friends. Joe can best be described as a man always willing to help anyone.
He was survived by his children; Mary-Frances Y. Brooke, Ann-Marie Walker, and Michael J Yatsko; his grandchildren; Cameron J. Walker, Ian J. Walker, Joseph "Joey" M. Yatsko and Alex W. Brooke; his great grandchild; Everly Walker, and one brother Paul N. Yatsko.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734. A committal service with military honors will occur Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, Florida 34734.
