

Kathleen Kreinbihl Weising, age 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, FL. She was born February 7, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, to Thomas and Loretta (Smith) Kreinbihl. She married Alfred Weising on October 3, 1959 at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Ridgewood, New York. After Alfred’s retirement, they uprooted their small family and moved to Orlando, Florida in 1980. The retired life was not for this couple. They enjoyed cruising with family members, and camping trips with their boys. Family life was important to Kathy, but she was also determined to have a career. Kathy was an accomplished women earning an LPN Practical Nursing degree. She thoroughly enjoyed caring for others in her medical career, but prided herself in the care of her husband Al, and their three sons. She leaves behind many family and friends from New York, Massachusetts and Florida, but most of all the loves of her life; her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Alfred of 57 years; their 3 sons, Jeffrey, Christopher (René), and Jason; her 7 grandchildren; Jordan Elizabeth, C.W., Eric, Gareth, Ethan, Alexis and Alana; a sister, Eileen (August) Rund; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded by her parents, brothers Arthur (Vita), Thomas and sister Marie Wilhelm. Family, friends, and others whose lives Kathleen touched are invited to the Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL. 34734, from 6pm-8pm on Monday, November 14, 2016, to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, to celebrate the life of Kathy. Tuesday, November 15, 2016, the family will greet friends at Holy Family Catholic Church for a Memorial Mass at 8:30am, 5125 S. Apopka-Vineland Drive, Orlando, FL 32819. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
