Kris Anthony Penny

Kris Penny, 40, of Clermont, Florida, passed away in peace Wednesday, April 20th, 2016. Services will be held at 11:00am on Sunday, April 24 at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734.

Kris was born on December 21st, 1975 in Germany. In 2008 he married Lori McNamara in Flagler Beach, Florida. Then took on the role to be a step father to Kayla Kaye, and then 2009 had another child Cloey Penny.

He began his passion in the flooring business. He enjoyed dirt bike riding, fishing and was a movie buff. His favorite thing of all was to spend time with his family. He was full of joy meeting his first grandchild Kasin Penny a few months prior to his passing.

Kris is survived by his wife Lori McNamara, son Tylor Penny, two daughters Cloey Penny and Teha Penny, stepdaughter Kayla Kaye, daughter in law Samantha Stroehle; one grandson Kasin Penny, his sister Ashlea Penny and brother Jason Penny and several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Kris was also survived by his parents Krista Penny, David Carl Penny and Charles Alcala.

A visitation will be held on Sunday April 24, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha. Woodlawn Funeral Home is entrusted to arrangements. Condolences may be offered at www.woodlawnfuneralhomegotha.com
