Kumarie Devi Sheila Singh

It is with deep sadness the family of Sheila Kumarie Devi Singh shares her passing on July 22, 2025 at age 85 in Apopka, Florida. She was born in Georgetown, Guyana on November 29, 1939 and grew up in the Kingston area.

She was married on February 5, 1959 to Ronald Singh. She became a mother to three children, Carol, Peter, and Ron. As a wife and mother, she managed rental properties in Guyana until Ronald’s career took them to England and Brazil where she hosted events for diplomats, expatriates and made life long friends.

They became grandparents and relocated to Florida. They enjoyed time with their grandchildren, Anjeli, Asha, Sanjay, Emily, Alex and Ajay along with her great grandchildren, Zamir and Kairo. She had a passion for baking, entertaining, travel, cricket, and Wheel of Fortune. She was a very loving woman and found her greatest joy in her relationships to her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald, her children: Carol &, K.P, Peter & Tanu, Ron & Kathya; Her Grandchildren: Anjeli & Wilsend, Asha, Sanjay, Emily, Alex Singh, Ajay Singh; and her great-grandchildren: Zamir and Kairo. She is preceded in death by her parents Ganisham & Basmatie, and her siblings Doreen, Olga, Basdeo, Patsy, Elaine, and Claude.

Service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home at 9:30 am.
