Kwok Wan Chiu, 67, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2022. Born and raised in Hong Kong, he immigrated to the United States in 1995. After living in New York for 26 years, he moved to sunny Florida to enjoy his retirement with his loving wife.
Kwok Wan was blessed with a large and loving family. He was genuinely the most selfless man, always putting his family before himself. A true hero to us all.
His favorite hobbies include cruise vacations, cooking, fishing and of course, drinking his favorite beer. He loved playing with his grandchildren; he’ll always be their number one favorite.
He is survived by his wife Lai Kiu Lam; his daughters Cynthia Chiu, Joyce Chiu, Doris Chiu and Katie Chiu; his son-in-laws Wei Jun Yan, Igor Shliperman and Philip Moy; his grandchildren Isabella Yan, Jacob Yan, Jason Shliperman and Ryan Shliperman; and his dog Panda Chiu.
Service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida, on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 12:00pm.
