Latchmin Prashad

Latchmin Prashad, 94, of Orlando, Florida passed away on March 28, 2023. She was born in Guyana on September 23, 1928. She married Mohabir Prashad in 1947 and together they moved to NY in 1981. She was widowed in 1988. In 2001, she moved to Florida where she lived the remaining of her life with her daughter Kamla and family.

Latchmin is survived by her children, Suresh, Ramesh, Chandra, Narinee, Danesh, Kamla, Munesh and Indra; grandchildren, Mala, Marcia, Ray, Melissa, Anita, Priya, Sasha, Allysa, Robin, Trevor, Navin, Gavin, Ram, Samantha and Brandon; and 12 great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband, Mohabir, granddaughter, Kavita and her 9 siblings.

The visitation for Latchmin Prashad will be held Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.

The funeral service and cremation will be Monday, April 3, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
