Lucile "Lou" Loretta Mims, 88 of Orlando, Florida passed away on June 16, 2014. She was born on July 3, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Wilfred John and Loretta F. (Kinsella) Cadley. Lou was and amazing woman who dedicated her life to her family, church and community. She was one of the original congregation of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Orlando, Florida. She was a member of many clubs, just to name a few, Sorosis Club of Orlando, Orlando Garden Club, Inc., Young Democrats, J.C. Wives and the University of Florida Dames. Mrs. Mims is preceded in death by her husband, William Mims; son, William Mims, Jr.; brother, Wilfred Cadley. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Mims Silkey; daughter-in-law, Susan Mims; brother, Russell Cadley; grandchildren, William Mims, III, Brandon Silkey and Charlotte Mims; three great granddaughters, Taylor, Madison and Grace Silkey. Arrangements under the direction of Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, Gotha, FL.
