Professionally, Madonna's remarkable journey in the medical field began after graduating Magna Cum Laude from D'Youville College in 1974. After a brief teaching career, Madonna was awarded a scholarship through NYU to attend the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, where she earned her M.D. in 1982. She completed a residency program in obstetrics and gynecology at SUNY at Buffalo in 1983, followed by an anesthesiology residency from 1983-1985, and a fellowship in pediatric and adult cardiovascular anesthesia at Children's Hospital of Buffalo from 1985-1986.

McCall, and embraced his children with open arms, becoming a second mother to them. She enriched everyone’s lives with her hobbies of downhill skiing, playing the piano, and cooking. She was an effortless and gracious host, always opening her home for gatherings with her family and friends; her home was a hub of joy, music, and laughter. She found peace and relaxation from the smell of salt water air, walking along the water in Clearwater Beach.
More recently, Madonna found joy and companionship with the "Barre Babes" at Pure Barre, where she forged new friendships that brought her happiness and a sense of youthfulness.
