Margaret Ann Harper

Margaret Ann Harper, 78, of Clermont, Florida went home to be with the Lord on December 6, 2017. She was born February 7, 1939 in Robson, West Virginia to the late Luther Buel Raynes and Clella Bess Raynes.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband James Benny Harper, her brothers Elmer “Snook” Raynes, Luther Buel “L.B.” Raynes Jr. (Frances) Raynes.

She is survived by brothers Kenneth “Gail” Raynes (Pat), Billy Ray Raynes (Trula) both of Robson WV, brother Larry Keith Raynes (Norma Jean) of Taylor’s SC and sister Drema Gay Raynes Hannah of Hilton Head, SC. Sons Errett Craig Harper (Barbara) of Ft. Lawn SC, James Monte Harper (Tonya) of Groveland, FL, Jeffrey Martin (Mechelle) of Thomasville, AL and Jody Michael (Yamilet) of Lakeland, FL. Grandchildren Brittany Suzanne Rooney (James), Maegan Larae Mckinley (Matthew), Jessica Mechelle Harper, Kasie Lynn Daugherty (Rickey), Dakota Raynes Harper (Bonnie), Kimberli Paige Harper, James Noah Harper Nathan Clay Harper, Makenna Leigh Neeley (Ryan),and Luke Elliott Tucker. Great grandchildren Emma Mckinley, Elizabeth Montgomery, Maddox Mckinley, Lilyana Harper, Connor Daugherty, Mason Daugherty, and Liam Alexander Neeley.

Margaret was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She lived her life serving the Lord and her family, and was affectionately known as “Granny” to the many children she cared for over the years. All who had the pleasure of knowing her described her as the epitome of what a Christian woman should be. She will be deeply missed but cherished in our hearts forever.
