Mary Luz Colon, 72, of Orlando, Florida passed away on January 29, 2012. She was born on July 8, 1959 in Vieques, Puerto Rico to Fransico and Claudina (Ayala) Colon. Survivors included her sons, Marcelo (Laura Delerme) Cruz and Orlando (Zenaida) Cruz; brothers, Carlos Nieves, Angel Nieves, Victorino Nieves, Jaime Monte, and Nino Ortiz; sisters, Julia Colon, Carlorta Nieves, Lucrecia Monte, and Maribel Nieves; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A viewing will be held February 2, 2012, Thursday, from 5 to 8 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held February 3, 2012, Friday, at 12 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
